Storage Frognal Modern Slavery Statement
This Modern Slavery Statement sets out the steps taken by Storage Frognal to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our operations and supply chains. We are committed to conducting business ethically, transparently, and with respect for the dignity and human rights of every person affected by our activities.
Modern slavery encompasses slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, human trafficking, debt bondage, and other forms of exploitation. Storage Frognal recognises that all businesses have a responsibility to be vigilant and proactive in identifying and addressing the risk of modern slavery.
Our Zero-Tolerance Approach
Storage Frognal maintains a clear and unequivocal zero-tolerance policy towards modern slavery and human trafficking in any part of our business or supply chains. We will not knowingly work with any organisation or individual involved in such practices, and we expect the same high standards from all parties with whom we do business.
Our leadership team is responsible for promoting a culture of integrity and accountability. Managers at all levels are required to uphold this policy, embed it into day-to-day operations, and ensure that team members understand their obligations in relation to modern slavery and human rights.
Our Supply Chains and Supplier Standards
Storage Frognal works with a range of suppliers and service providers, including building contractors, maintenance services, security providers, cleaning services, equipment suppliers, and other professional partners. We recognise that the risk of modern slavery can occur at any point in these supply chains, particularly where there are complex subcontracting arrangements or lower-skilled and temporary workforces.
We require our suppliers to operate in accordance with all applicable labour and human rights laws and to uphold standards consistent with our own. Our supplier expectations include the prohibition of forced, compulsory, or trafficked labour, respect for freedom of movement, fair working conditions, and the prohibition of child labour that is illegal, exploitative, or interferes with a child’s education or development.
Supplier Due Diligence and Audits
To mitigate the risk of modern slavery, Storage Frognal undertakes proportionate due diligence when selecting and reviewing suppliers. This may include pre-engagement questionnaires, requests for relevant policies and statements, and assessment of labour practices in higher-risk sectors or regions.
We reserve the right to conduct audits of suppliers where we believe there may be a heightened risk of modern slavery or where concerns have been raised. These audits may be carried out directly by Storage Frognal or by suitably qualified third parties. Where non-compliance with our standards is identified, we expect suppliers to implement prompt corrective actions. If a supplier is unwilling or unable to remedy non-compliance, we may suspend or terminate the business relationship.
Reporting Concerns and Protection
Storage Frognal encourages anyone who encounters or suspects modern slavery or unethical labour practices in connection with our business to report their concerns without delay. This includes employees, agency workers, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders who may become aware of potential exploitation.
We provide internal reporting channels so that concerns can be raised in confidence to line managers or senior management. Reports will be treated seriously, investigated promptly, and handled as sensitively as possible. We do not tolerate victimisation or retaliation against any person who raises a concern in good faith, even if it is not ultimately substantiated.
Where appropriate, and particularly in cases involving immediate risk to individuals, we will cooperate with relevant authorities and specialist organisations to ensure that victims are protected and that perpetrators are held to account.
Training and Awareness
To support effective implementation of this Statement, Storage Frognal provides proportionate training and guidance for relevant employees, particularly those involved in procurement, facilities management, and supplier engagement. Training focuses on recognising indicators of modern slavery, understanding how it can occur within supply chains, and knowing how to escalate concerns.
We also promote awareness of modern slavery risks across our workforce through internal communications, policy updates, and inclusion of modern slavery considerations within broader risk management and ethical conduct initiatives.
Monitoring, Governance, and Annual Review
Responsibility for overseeing our approach to modern slavery rests with Storage Frognal’s senior management, who ensure that this Statement is implemented in line with our values and legal obligations. Modern slavery risks are considered as part of our wider governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
This Modern Slavery Statement is reviewed annually to assess its effectiveness and to identify opportunities for improvement. As our operations and supply chains evolve, we will continue to refine our due diligence processes, strengthen supplier engagement, and enhance training and reporting mechanisms.
Storage Frognal is committed to ongoing improvement in preventing modern slavery and human trafficking and to working collaboratively with our partners to promote safe, fair, and respectful working conditions for all.
